Swift Medical is seeking a Senior Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Technology team!
In this role, you will strive to ensure high quality of Swift's mobile application releases by doing excellent test planning and test automation.

You are a critical thinker with passion for quality and software testing. Your curiosity and resourcefulness allow you to not only find problems but to also provide creative solutions for solving them.

You have enviable technical knowledge as well as a wealth of programming skills and you enjoy working closely with developers. You possess ​​exemplary communication and collaboration skills, with a desire to scale with a fast-growing team that is creating an impact in the world!

How you will make an impact:  

1. Ensure that no blocking defects are found after a release by:

    • Building Feature test plans, in advance of or along with feature development, ensuring 100% coverage of the feature requirements;
    • Creating detailed regression plans to ensure 0% regression due to a release;
    • Constantly communicating with product and development teams to ensure that defects are identified.

2. Create mobile test automation:

    • Build test automation to cover all major as well as critical use cases for the Cross-platform Mobile (Flutter) application including unit, widget and integration tests and covering all product requirements.

3. Create a culture of business and test driven development:

    • Be a strong advocate of early test planning and testing and collaborate with Product and Development teams to create test plans at the beginning of feature development;
    • Ensure that both functional and non-functional areas are covered in test plans and executions.

What you bring to the table:

    • Strong programming skills in at least 2 programming languages e.g. ruby, python, c#, java, kotlin etc.;
    • Hands-on experience in development automation frameworks and writing test scripts focused on native mobile applications;
    • Experience working with cross platform technologies (dart/flutter) is a huge asset;
    • Strong critical thinking as well as troubleshooting / debugging skills;
    • Customer empathy and product understanding;
    • Bachelors or Masters degree or diploma in any Engineering or Mathematics fields;

    • Interview 1: 45-minute video interview with our Talent Partner
    • Interview 2: 60-minute introductory, behavioural video interview with Phil Denis (the leader for this role) & Yatin Shelke (Staff QA Engineer)
    • Interview 3: 75-minute technical, systems design video interview with our Mobile and QA Leads.
    • Interview 4: 60-minute panel video interview with folks from QA, Product and Technology team.
    • And then, Offer!!
