The job:

Swirl is seeking a creative, goal-oriented and organized Media Supervisor to join us on a global enterprise tech account. This is a great opportunity to do ground-breaking work with a large, industry leading client, in a collaborative and creative environment. The right candidate will need a mix of digital media experience, passion, creativity, and analytical rigor. Responsibilities include:

- Manage a team of planners and assistant planners to ensure precision execution across planning, buying and optimization
- Manage day-to-day contact with clients; build close client connections (a more traditional account function) and provide broad and specific media answers, direction, POVs and project updates as requested
- Develop/maintain relationships with media partners, negotiating rates and developing new opportunities
- Create, plan and execute integrated demand gen plans addressing the user journey across multiple channel and content touchpoints including search, social, display and native tactics.
- Determine KPIs and test plans to track and improve campaign effectiveness and overall success
- Manage global agency partners providing upfront briefings and consolidating data for global reporting
- Create and present media recommendations including new ideas to both internal teams and clients alike
- Track account spending and collaborate with Media Ops/Finance to maintain up-to-date billing trackers
- Work closely with and help inspire Creative teams to develop and implement the best campaigns; manage material specs and artwork due dates
- Analyze cross-channel media plan data, build charts/slides/web dashboards reflecting such and provide insights for optimization with the help of your team
- Present plan optimizations to clients during analytics meetings or as needed
- Manage media project billing to ensure accurate weekly billing audits and budget recaps
- Manage ad trafficking process alongside Ad Ops team and junior Media Strategists
- Lead weekly client status calls and manage follow-ups
- Keep up to date with the latest media trends, providing POVs when applicable & contribute to the media team blog
 
 
We’re looking for people with:

- At least five (5) years of integrated experience in all aspects of media planning and buying with an emphasis on digital & mobile
- Lead generation experience ideal; experience driving pipeline through lead gen, social, and programmatic media
- Previous Supervisor experience
- Strong math and analytical skills; ability to relate results to client business objectives
- Media vendor negotiation experience
- Experience with research tools such as Nielsen, @Plan, AdRelevance, MRI, Telmar, etc.
- Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Highly organized and motivated
- Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
- Self-starter who is capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively
- Passion for advertising and technology
