Swirl is seeking a Content Strategist to join its growing strategy team. The role includes the opportunity to work on multiple brands across the agency, spanning from CPG to B2B tech to an innovative consumer organization working to offset the global impact of climate change. The Content Strategist will help to plan and execute content across both digital and traditional channels that effectively targets, engages, and drives action. He/She will ideally have a marketing background with editorial experience, and lead alongside Account, Production, Creative, Customer Experience, Strategy and Technology teams.
The Content Strategist will spearhead all aspects of storytelling, content marketing and approaches to content distribution & socialization. He/She will collect, analyze, and present data from a variety of sources to come up with pivotal insights that will increase the ability of brands to engage their respective audiences. Drawing on both quantitative and qualitative insights, the Content Strategist will work closely with their strategic and creative counterparts to imbue brand voice and creative look and feel to new and innovative approaches to reaching audiences.
We’re looking for people with:
-4+ years in an Agency environment or equivalent client-side / publisher-side experience in a strategic or editorial discipline
-Experience guiding and executing strategy, from kickoff to deliverable
-Comfortable working both independently and within the context of a multi-disciplinary team
-Entrepreneurial thinker and do-er; comes up with a plan before being asked and doesn’t wait for instruction
-Detail-oriented, even-tempered personality with clear communication skills
-Highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks and requests
-Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure and tight timelines
-A skilled diplomat who brings passion and drive to each aspect of their job
-Bachelor’s Degree; preferably with a marketing, advertising or psychology background
-Strong command of MS Office Suite, especially in PowerPoint; Mac/PC fluency required; basic working experience of Adobe CS, Omnigraffle and/or Sketch a plus
