Data Analytics Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Data Engineer to join our quickly growing team. The Data Engineer will be responsible for creating data platforms/programs that best serve and support our Data Analytics team and client objectives. He/She will implement and QA these programs, looking at systems architecture and how data is collected, managed, and stored so that it is easily accessible to internal teams. The Data Engineer will collaborate closely with the Strategy, Media, and Product teams – and need in depth experience working in Google Analytics, Omniture, Optimizely, and SQL databases. Responsibilities included:
-Design and develop data platforms/programs that extract data from various sources, transform and load it to serve reporting and analytics.
-Maintain and automate data collection processes in support of media, creative, and product work.
-Define requirements and administer database(s); establish workflow, measurement plans, and processes in support of data collection and campaign optimization.
-Collaborate closely with internal teams, serving as a go-to point of contact and helping educate team members on best practices.
-Implement cross-department quality control mechanisms to ensure data integrity.
-Consult with clients as needed on data management best practices, vendor selection, and database architecture.
We’re looking for people with:
-3+ years of experience in data engineering; product/marketing background ideal.
-In depth experience working in Google Analytics, Omniture, Optimizely, and SQL databases.
-Extensive tagging skills and analytics program implementation expertise.
-Ability to work successfully on a team and independently.
-Comfort working in highly flexible, entrepreneurial environments.
-Leadership, interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
