Introduction :
Sword Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our new mental health initiative in a full time position. This is a unique opportunity to join an initiative aimed at reshaping the way mental wellbeing programming is provided.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a truly transformative, personalized experience for our members. This is not just another clinical role — it’s a unique opportunity to use your deep clinical expertise to engage directly with members, supporting them as they adopt lifestyle changes across exercise, sleep, nutrition, and mindfulness, while having a direct influence on shaping and evolving our innovative care programs. You'll be at the forefront of combining human connection with cutting-edge digital health solutions, making a measurable impact on mental health outcomes at scale.
What you'll be doing:
- Work directly with members to provide them with personalized, dynamic and evolving mental health support they need to succeed. This will involve:
- Leverage member interactions and your expertise to strategize with clinical leadership and the product team, transforming these insights into product and program improvements
- Engage with clinical leadership to develop and implement processes that enhance the quality of member care and elevate the overall member experience
- 90% of role will be member-facing program delivery and 10% will be focused on leveraging insights for program development.
> Assessing their needs and setting personalized goals
> Assigning tailored programs that integrate mindfulness, movement, and sleep activities
> Providing psychoeducation on the link between health behaviors and mental health
> Providing real-time synchronously and asynchronously support to help them stay on track
> Adapting programs based on ongoing feedback
What you need to have:
- PhD / PsyD in Clinical Psychology; preference given to Health Psychology specialization
- Fully Licensed (i.e., able to work independently, without supervision from a licensed supervisor) without current, past, or pending disciplinary action (position not currently open to individuals accruing hours towards licensure)
- 3+ years of independently licensed clinical experience working directly with the adult population
- Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and/or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
- Empathetic and compassionate approach to member care
- Demonstrated ability to guide patients in making lifestyle changes related to physical activity, sleep, nutrition, and/or mindfulness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in delivering measurement-based care

Salary Range: $115,000 - $134,000 ( Total cash compensation) + Equity shares*
