Sword Health is looking for an exceptional Head of Events to join our B2B Enterprise marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing events across our key audiences, both through trade shows and branded/hosted events, to drive demand and brand preference for Sword. 

This role is for an experienced and independent self-starter who has deep expertise and results across industries in delivering successful events. A creative thinker and executer to reach and influence all our B2B audiences. The right person for this role is excited to truly rewrite the B2B event playbook for Healthtech. What You'll Do:

Overall:
• Create the strategy and drive the day to day of our event marketing efforts
• Lead and manage all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring flawless coordination and delivery of high-quality events
• Oversee both trade shows and branded/hosted events throughout the year
• Ladder to company objectives, including identifying target audiences, determining event format, and setting goals and metrics for success
• Oversee budgeting and financial management for events, ensuring cost-effective planning and resource allocation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align event initiatives with marketing, sales, and business development efforts
• Evaluate event performance and provide insights for continuous improvement, leveraging data and feedback to enhance future events

Team:
• Leads a team of a Senior Events Manager, Event Coordinator, agency work as needed, and our Partner marketing’s event strategy
• Develop a creative yet analytical and results-driven team, consistently delivering high-performance results
• Keep a high bar on team performance to ensure we are consistently meeting excellence on all outputs and using tech to innovate and improve deliverables

Operations:
• You will collaborate with our sales and our marketing teams to execute events that influence the pipeline and create greater brand awareness 
• Partner with Finance to develop holistic goals across various marketing efforts that include forecasting, spend and ROI
• Support process improvements, working to ensure proper attribution
• Apply brand principles, voice, and design guidelines across all events

Who You Are:

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
• 12+ years leading event marketing with scalable and repeatable playbooks
• Strong understanding of B2B marketing and its most effective event types 
• Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful events for both lead generation and brand awareness and perceptions
• Solid rolodex of agencies for both large and small event needs
• Excellent operational skills and regular data-driven decision making
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and execute multiple activities/projects simultaneously
