As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for creating and delivering client reports, based on snapshots of our data warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. you will work closely with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to align requirements and ensure that all reporting needs are met accurately and efficiently.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract data from the data warehouse for client reports.
- Maintain our Reporting framework and adding features to it (new layout capabilities).
- Create and automate the delivery of data snapshots.
- Communicate complex technical processes and requirements clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Customer Success Manager to understand the reporting needs and ensure accurate alignment with their requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and snapshots provided to clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data extraction, transformation, and delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize and improve data reporting processes.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all processes and procedures related to client reporting.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a data reporting, for at least 2 years minimum.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with dbt and airflow are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical processes to non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Proven ability to align requirements and deliverables with client needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
