The new initiative
We’re expanding our proven AI-driven care management technology, already battletested in-house and deployed across the United States, to tackle Portugal's clinical workflow bottlenecks.
As Sales Executive, you'll spearhead AI-powered healthcare solution sales into NHS Trusts across the UK. With the NHS facing unprecedented pressures—record waiting lists, staffing crises, and mounting financial constraints—you'll position our technology as the solution to reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and deliver measurable cost savings.
Please note that this role is hiring for NHS expertise first, sales experience second. If you're a clinician, healthcare manager, administrator, or anyone who truly understands the inner workings of the NHS, we want to hear from you—whether you're a seasoned sales professional or have never sold anything in your life. We can teach our sales methodology in weeks, but we can't replicate the years of NHS knowledge, established relationships, and hard-earned credibility you bring to every conversation. Your insider perspective, combined with our training, is the winning formula.
You'll be building relationships from the ground up in a system where procurement cycles can span 18+ months and stakeholder alignment is everything. Success here positions you as our future Head of EU Sales, reporting directly to a US-based General Manager (GM) with extensive healthcare sales experience.
Think of this like operating in a seed-stage startup. There’s uncertainty, fast pivots, and a lot of chaos–but for the right person, that’s exactly the thrill. If you thrive in the unknown, move fast, and know how to build pipeline, this is the role for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Sell enterprise AI solutions into NHS Trusts – position our cloud-native platform to reduce clinical admin time, improve patient throughput, and demonstrate clear ROI within NHS budget constraints.
- Own the full NHS sales cycle – from initial stakeholder mapping through procurement frameworks to contract signature on £100k-£500k ARR deals with NHS Trusts and ICS organizations
- Navigate complex NHS procurement – master frameworks like G-Cloud, HSCN compliance, IG Toolkit requirements, and multi-stage tender processes while building consensus across clinical, IT, procurement, and executive teams
- Build a £5M+ pipeline from scratch – combine account-based strategies, clinical conferences, NHS networking events, and thought leadership to create sustainable demand generation
- Master NHS stakeholder management – align Chief Digital Officers, Medical Directors, Finance Directors, CIOs, and procurement teams while understanding the unique dynamics of NHS decision-making
- Become the voice of NHS customers – feed critical market intelligence back to product and engineering teams, informing our UK roadmap and future European NHS expansion
What you need to have:
- Deep NHS knowledge – understanding of Trust structures, ICS frameworks, procurement processes, and the unique challenges facing UK healthcare delivery
- NHS network/rolodex – existing relationships within NHS Trusts, ICS organizations, or healthcare technology ecosystem
- Stakeholder management expertise – proven ability to navigate complex, multi-party decisions and build consensus across diverse groups
- Communication excellence – can translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions for both clinical and executive audiences
- Project management capabilities – experience managing long-cycle initiatives with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
What we would love to see:
- Technology comfort; understanding of digital health, AI/ML concepts, or healthcare IT systems (or willingness to learn rapidly)
- A builder’s mindset,you thrive in uncharted territory and turn ambiguity into action;
- Start-up scar tissue; you’re comfortable iterating offers weekly as we chase product-market fit in Portugal;
- Clinical experience;we welcome clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare managers, or anyone with hands-on NHS experience who wants to transition into commercial roles
- Track recording closing technology deals above £500k ARR under framework agreements.
£123,787 - £194,523 a year
