    • Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Taxation and general ledger activities.
    • Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and ownership.
    • Implement and improve internal controls to strengthen financial processes and reduce risk.
    • Support in audit requests during internal and external audits and manage documentation requests.
    • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and oversee timely submission of tax filings.
    • Support forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management efforts alongside the finance team.
    • Leverage systems and tools to increase automation and reduce manual processes.
    • Manage and monitor product costing to ensure accuracy and alignment with company standards.
    • Analyze cost structures and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
    • Oversee inventory transactions, including stock movements, adjustments, and reconciliations.
    • Coordinate with procurement, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure proper inventory valuation.
    • Collaborate with other functions to determine the appropriate accounting treatment for new products and assess any related tax implications

Who You Are

    • You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field — a CPA, CMA, or similar certification is a big plus.
    • You bring 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership.
    • You’re deeply knowledgeable about accounting principles (IFRS or GAAP) and love getting things right.
    • You’re comfortable with accounting systems and Excel — maybe even a bit of a spreadsheet wizard.
    • You have a sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to solving problems before they escalate.
    • You thrive in fast-paced environments and are always looking for ways to improve how things work.
    • You’re a strong communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with both finance and non-finance teams.
