About the Role
The Wholesale Account Managers Lead will oversee and guide the team of Account Managers, ensuring they are building and maintaining strong relationships with our network of automotive dealers. In this role, you will drive the strategy, set performance targets, and foster team success by enabling Account Managers to exceed expectations. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance dealer experience, optimize processes, and scale Sylndr’s wholesale operations.
Having prior experience in the automotive industry or a passion for cars is a strong plus, as it will enable you to better connect with dealers, understand their needs, and lead the team with industry-relevant insights.
What You Will Do!!
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the team of Wholesale Account Managers, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to enhance dealer relationships, improve sales performance, and optimize the wholesale process.
- Performance Oversight: Monitor and evaluate team performance and dealer metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve outcomes across the network.
- Dealer Engagement: Oversee the Account Managers’ engagement efforts, ensuring that dealers are highly satisfied and actively utilizing Sylndr’s services and tools.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current operations and work cross-functionally to implement improvements that streamline workflows and enhance service delivery.
- Escalation Management: Act as the primary point of escalation for dealer-related challenges, resolving complex issues while maintaining positive relationships.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training to the team and ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively manage dealer accounts and drive sales.
- Collaboration: Partner with sales, logistics, product, and operations teams to align efforts and ensure seamless execution of wholesale strategies.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze performance data, market trends, and team activities to make informed decisions and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Who You Are!!
- Leadership Experience: 2+ years of proven experience managing and leading account management or sales teams, preferably in the automotive or related industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of dealership operations, automotive sales, and wholesale dynamics.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute strategies that align with business objectives and drive growth.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
