About the role :
We're seeking an Insights Lead to drive data-driven decision-making across all departments. Your role involves identifying risks and opportunities, particularly in refurbishment/workshop operations and vehicle movement. You'll leverage SQL proficiency to build dashboards, present insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and present detailed performance dashboards for refurbishment/workshop operations monthly and weekly, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- Develop and maintain automated daily monitoring dashboards and KPIs to track performance and identify potential issues.
- Work closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand their data needs and provide insights to support their decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with refurbishment/workshop teams to identify business risks and opportunities, leveraging data-driven insights.
- Analyze data related to vehicle movement across different business stages and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and dashboard development.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered instead of a degree.
- Proven experience in data analysis, insights generation, and strategic decision-making. Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. Ability to analyze complex data sets, create formulas, and generate reports.
- Familiarity with SQL for data extraction.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data analysis efficiently.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with numbers, interpreting complex KPIs, and drawing actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset. Ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders, fostering productive working relationships.
