Brand Engineer

The Brand Engineering team acts as a liaison between clients and Symphony Commerce. The team plays an integral part in shaping product focus and vision to improve client happiness. This is a hands-on role that will give you the opportunity to architect client-focused solutions and applications.

The candidate must be technical, must have deep understanding of the Symphony Commerce product, and must communicate effectively with clients. This role is at the forefront of customer requests and is integral in ensuring client happiness.


    • Develop applications for Symphony Commerce clients (e.g.: an Algolia search implementation)
    • Architect technical solutions for clients, providing key input on product and timeline definition
    • Work with the database to provide strategic reports to clients
    • Communicate daily with clients and internal stakeholders, providing timely resolutions to their issues


    • 3+ years experience with MySQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
    • 2+ years with a scripting language (e.g.: Python, PHP, Ruby) 
    • 1+ years with Node.js, Angular.js preferred
    • 2-5 years in client-facing role
    • Experience working with REST APIs, understanding and writing documentation
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - this role will interact with clients on a day-to-day basis 
    • Ability to learn complex, new technologies very quickly 
    • Proven problem-solving capabilities
