Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop more competitive new products (including suppliers) and provide solutions based on business requirements and market information. Conduct research on existing markets to ensure product competitiveness and market share.
    • Study and analyze overall trends and market freight rates for route development. Collect and organize information on changes in capacity and volume, market competition dynamics, and freight rate fluctuations for relevant routes.
    • Maintain relationships with various shipping companies and negotiate freight contracts for the assigned routes. Reduce procurement costs for freight rates and coordinate various affairs on the shipping side during contract execution.
    • Understand the calling port situation and characteristics of shipping companies on the routes. Maintain good relationships with shipping companies and freight forwarders. Regularly collect and summarize sea freight market trends. Resolve major issues regarding freight rates and capacity, and provide necessary business guidance for various business units' freight procurement.
    • Maintain and update price costs in real-time, and develop a standardized and proceduralized quotation system SOP.
    • Complete other tasks assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or above in International Trade, Logistics, or related fields. Fluent in English, which can be used as a working language.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining and developing sea freight routes.
    • Candidates with shipping company relationships or sales abilities are preferred.
    • Familiar with sea freight export operation processes and business knowledge. Have close relationships with shipping companies and can control routes and cargo spaces independently.
    • Familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of various routes and shipping companies, as well as various container types and FCL/LCL calculations.
    • Possess good professional ethics, honesty, and integrity. Sharp market awareness, strong comprehensive analytical ability, and risk control skills.
