Job Summary: The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing/communication initiatives to promote the Amigos brand and drive traffic/revenue. The Marketing Director works with Operations and other Marketing team members to manage social media and enhance brand awareness while directing the Marketing staff on day-to-day initiatives. This position will be “hands-on” and growth-focused, responsible for managing all aspects of the brand’s marketing campaign operations and promoting the Amigos brand and culture. The Marketing Director is part of the Executive Leadership team. It is responsible for collaborating with the CEO and operations team to proactively and effectively create and execute an integrated marketing strategy that enhances brand recognition while driving sales revenue, profitability, and guest loyalty.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the marketing team to develop campaigns/promotions that drive sales to further develop the brand’s social media strategy.
• Directly oversee and manage the creation and implementation of all branding, collateral, promotional materials, advertising creative, menu design, and general graphic design, with the assistance of the Graphic Designer
• Directly oversee and manage the execution and coordination of all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities
• Provide restaurants with localized marketing materials and menus.
• Develop, design, and submit content for all digital marketing (website, email, social, other.)
• Analyze marketing data/feedback on social media platforms and recommend how to improve.
• Manage and work with external resources, i.e., creative agencies, to develop and oversee advertisements (print and online), produce menu photos and TV/social media video shoots for new food campaigns, and design printed collateral to support sales efforts and guest needs.
• Ensure the company website is up-to-date and promoted effectively.
• Lead and mentor the marketing team to succeed.
• Determine and manage the marketing budget.

Job Education and Experience:

• Requires advanced communication and management skills at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with an emphasis in Marketing, Public Relations, Communication, or a related field.
• Marketing management experience within the hospitality/service restaurant industry preferred.

Job Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Knowledge of Google Adwords, Google Analytics, and email campaign platforms such as Constant Contact and Mailchimp will be highly regarded.
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of critical thinking, analytical skills, attention to detail, advanced communication, writing, and grammar skills.
• Attention to detail is essential, and being able to follow through on tasks, etc.
• Must have a high level of organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage a significant number of projects simultaneously while under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Effective budget management experience.
• Substantial Internet marketing skills, including search optimization, retargeting, landing page design, and other marketing measurement tracking and workflow communication systems.
• Computer literate (Microsoft software: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) worked with customer databases and e-commerce.
• Good planning and excellent organization skills, completer/finisher
• Will go the extra mile and have that enthusiasm to lead through obstacles.
• Must be able to manage, lead, train & develop Marketing team members.
