About this Role

We are looking for a wordsmith who can take our data, research, and products and make top of the line content out of them. This role will oversee the creation of copy for our social media posts, our marketing materials, our website, and our client outreach. A fundamental understanding of who we are and what we do will be key to success in this role, as well as the ability to contribute to the ongoing growth of our brand and brand awareness. This role is perfect for someone with great ideas and excellent communication – especially written and visual – skills looking to generate content.

Responsibilities will include:

    • Maintaining a steady stream of high quality, engaging content for our website, social media, and marketing campaigns.
    • Collaborating with internal teams (primarily product, marketing, and sales) to best position our outreach efforts and create content that aligns with our internal goals and deadlines. 
    • Monitoring digital engagement metrics to better understand which of our outreach methods is most effective and using SEO best practices to increase the desired outcome of gaining brand awareness. 
    • Working with our design team to align the written content and visuals for external materials. 
    • Manage writing projects from start to finish, seeking continuous improvement through qualitative feedback.
    • Collaboratively maintain a content library and track content usage and feedback.
    • Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and spelling, adhering to company style and brand guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • 2-5 years of experience in a copywriting or editorial role, preferably within the financial industry.
    • Excellent copywriting, verbal, and critical thinking skills.
    • Baseline financial knowledge and/or a desire to develop deeper understanding of our data, field, and landscape.
    • Experience with both long- and short-form writing and optimizing copy for different marketing channels and formats.
    • Deep knowledge of social media and SEO best practices.
    • Ability to manage time and multiple deadlines at once.
    • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with various internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Marketing experience or understanding of impactful marketing strategies.
