What you will do

    • Build strong working relationships with employees and managers;
    • Support managers and employees in all HR functions/activities (employee relations, performance management, compensation, talent management, competency development, training, etc.);
    • Assist in the launch and implementation of HR and/or benefit programs, policies, tools and initiatives that align with company values and ensure their application and understanding;
    • Conduct stay and exit interviews, analyse the data, identify potential opportunities and roll out action plans accordingly;
    • Perform some admin tasks such as drafting contracts, running reports, drafting translating and sending various communications, manage leaves, onboarding and offboarding processes.
    • Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Effectively managing situations/conflicts, working closely with managers to ensure employee relations issues are handled professionally and timely and to minimize risks to the business
    • Being the advisor or coach in difficult situations to guide the managers on how to solve the situation
    • Team player, relationship builder and collaborator.
    • CRHA designation (an asset).
    • Performing other duties as required

What you'll need to get the job done

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly curious to dig deep with issues.
    • Thorough understanding of Canadian employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Passion for promoting a positive employee experience and contributing to a culture of inclusivity and excellence.
