We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer proficient in Golang to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for microservices-based architecture.
What you will do
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Golang code for backend services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement performance optimizations to ensure low-latency and high-throughput services.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues across multiple services.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.
What you'll need to get the job done
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience architecting and developing backend services using Golang, preferably in a microservices and cloud native environment.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native principles and experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and ORM libraries.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
What will make us REALLY love you
- Experience with other programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with message queuing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the Golang community.
