We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive RF Radio Integration Lab Manager to lead the operation, support, and continuous improvement of our Radio Integration Lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high-performance lab environment to support radio development, integration, and verification efforts across the engineering team. This is a hands-on role involving lab infrastructure management, coordination with development engineers, and oversight of lab equipment maintenance and logistics.

What you'll do

    • Manage and maintain a high-touch RF and wireless lab used for developing and testing radio modules and nodes.
    • Collaborate with radio hardware and software development teams to understand and support lab requirements.
    • Coordinate and communicate effectively with other lab managers and stakeholders across the organization to align resources, share best practices, and support cross-functional engineering efforts.
    • Oversee inventory and calibration schedules for lab assets, including RF test equipment, cables, antennas, and environmental systems.
    • Coordinate CAPEX planning and procurement of lab equipment and tooling.
    • Handle routine maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution for lab HVAC, ESS, electrical, GPS systems, and environmental monitoring.
    • Support and coordinate repairs, calibration services, and system downtime with external vendors.
    • Develop and maintain safety and operational standards to ensure compliance and efficiency.
    • Provide technical direction to lab technicians and junior team members as needed.
    • Perform typical lab management activities, including:
    • Validating lab readiness, monitoring equipment functionality, and responding to test engineer support requests.
    • Managing equipment status, initiating service or calibration, coordinating setups for test campaigns, tracking CAPEX and expenses, and producing lab usage and audit reports.
    • Leading infrastructure upgrades, supporting system integration efforts, and contributing to test plan development and execution.

What you'll need to get the job done

    • 5+ years experience in RF/wireless lab environment or similar technical role.
    • Strong hands-on experience with RF lab equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, vector network analyzers, etc.).
    • Solid understanding of radio systems, signal flow, and equipment interconnection.
    • Proven experience maintaining a safe, efficient, and standards-compliant lab environment.
    • Background in coordinating calibration, repair, and asset tracking for lab instrumentation.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and technical teams.
    • Diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent.
