What you'll do

    • Member of the System IVV team and perform integration and test of various features of the LightSpeed system
    • Develop/maintain test cases, test beds required for various Test cases.
    • Hands on testing in the Leo Lab for various data path and routing features.
    • Work with other segments like DevOps, Ground Systems, Satellite and foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
    • Ensure product under test meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements
    • Work as part of a scrum team in an Agile development environment.
    • Keep the lab functional and update with known hardware and software configuration to execute various test scenarios as necessary.

What you'll need to get the job done

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience with hands on testing with various networking technologies
    • At least 5 years of experience in one or more networking technologies including but not limited to LEO satellite communications, mesh networking, edge computing platforms, network encryption, etc.
    • At least 2 years of experience in MEF protocol and standards.
    • Strong knowledge of IP/TCP/Routing fundamentals
    • Preferred experience in SR-MPLS.
    • Experience with CI/CD and simulated software testing methodologies.
    • Experience with various IP Test equipment like Ixia
    • Experience with cloud technology, virtualization, and containerization.
    • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
    • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
    • Familiar with various Atlassian tools like Jira.
    • Automation experience with programming languages like Python
    • The successful candidate must be able to legally work in Canada and obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
