What you will do
- You will report to Manager of Engineering , partner with developers during the design/architecture phase to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and risk coverage early in the lifecycle (shift-left).
- Design and implement automated tests for new features in Kubernetes, containers, and cloud security, expanding coverage beyond functionality to include performance, resiliency, longevity/soak, and scalability.
- Develop automation frameworks in a CI/CD environment to ensure fast, safe releases.
- Promote quality practices and process improvements to increase the reliability and security of our solutions.
What you will bring with you
- Experience with software quality principles, automation strategies, and test strategies.
- Coding skills in Python or Java (5+ years).
- Experience with test frameworks such as Pytest, JUnit, TestNG.
- Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs.
What we look for
- Show curiosity and Stay informed about relevant technology trends and developments new technologies.
- A collaborative approach to working across teams.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, or cloud platforms
- Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
