Office Assistance / Human Resources Coordinator

This position provides an entry point into the Human Resources profession.   You will be handling sensitive and confidential information such as benefits and employment status. The Coordinator / Office Assistant will serve as a point of contact for employee questions and therefore must have superior customer service skills, produce accurate work and demonstrate empathy and service excellence in his/her work.

The Role You Will Have

    • Point of contact for new hires during the new hire orientation process
    • Support key HR programs including on boarding and immigration paperwork
    • Help organize meetings and events, such as team activities and company off sites
    • General office duties including ordering company lunches, snacks and working with catering companies for special events
    • Implement Volunteer Program and events for employees to attend
    • Maintain office cleanliness – kitchen and conference rooms
    • Other duties as needed

What You Will Bring

    • 1+ years of experience in an HR or administrative role
    • Excellent writing skills, including the ability to communicate to all levels clearly and concisely through multiple communication vehicles
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field is preferred
