The Construction intern will be responsible for assisting in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, document control and quality standards are met.  This opportunity will occur on multiple fronts.  T5 excels at building large scale data center projects where we own and operate the facility, but lease to Fortune 500 companies.  In addition, we continue to expand general contracting business and operate in 24 states (and growing).  We need high quality individuals who are looking to grow with a company and be a leader in the future.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Help coordinate project meetings with design, construction, and commissioning firms
    • Assist with pre-installation meetings.
    • Assist in managing T5 budgets and schedules
    • Interaction with power and fiber companies
    • Assist Project Manager and project team with reporting
    • Interface with customers to ensure critical infrastructure integrity
    • Interface with T5 operations team
    • Complete other such duties consistent with your role as you may be assigned by T5 management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Working towards obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in a Construction related field
    • Desire and interest in a construction related industry
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Project)
    • Yardi, Procor and Prolog experience, preferred

    • Knowledge of Division 2-10 (concrete through finish trade)
    • Demonstrate effective relationship building within the project team and throughout the Company.
    • Keep field team members (i.e. Superintendent) informed and active in decision-making.

    • Is flexible and changes quickly based on the company’s changing needs.
