We are looking for someone who can lead a team forward and inspire them through change as platforms and formats evolve. You are an operational powerhouse with a passion for enabling creativity through efficient production management. You thrive at the intersection of logistics and creativity, making ambitious ideas happen within budget and timeline constraints without compromising on quality.
You have a social-first mindset, understanding how to create content that resonates on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. You know how to balance fast-paced, agile production for social channels with the demands of high-impact brand campaigns.
You thrive in building and maintaining a dynamic, mid-sized production department, from Content Creators and Videographers to Editors, Motion Designers, and Production Assistants. You are skilled at scaling resources, leveraging freelancers and vendors, and guiding the team to success on Retainer accounts and delivering out of scope or net new Projects.
Your leadership style is grounded in collaboration and support. You are not just a manager, but a mentor and facilitator, enabling the content team to achieve bold ideas while making them practically and financially feasible.
Social-First Production Leadership
- Lead and manage the entire production department, including Content Creators, Videographers, Post-Production, Motion Graphics, and Production Assistants.
- Develop and implement agile production workflows tailored to social-first content, ensuring high-frequency output without sacrificing quality.
- Guide the in-house production team of social-first video professionals, including shooters, editors, VFX artists, and animators, to deliver engaging, platform-native content.
- Maintain a strong understanding of social platform requirements and best practices, and ensure content is optimized for performance on Reels, TikTok, and other key channels.
- Act as the key advisor to creative teams, providing practical insights into production feasibility, budget allocation, and logistics during the ideation phase.
Regional Brand Campaign Production
- Oversee the planning and execution of high-impact regional brand campaigns, from pre-production through post-production. Where needed to hire and delegate to freelance producers and line-producers.
- Build and maintain an extensive network of freelancers and production partners across the GCC region and beyond to scale production capacity when needed.
- Lead complex multi-regional shoots, coordinating technical crews, production vendors, and logistics partners to bring ambitious concepts to life.
- Troubleshoot production challenges on the fly, ensuring efficient problem-solving and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Budgeting & planning across large scale productions & retained business, ensuring key metrics are feasible to achieve and advice the business on a go/no-go prior to executing on delivery.
- Setup, benchmark and improve key performance indicators such as delivered margin, quality of work against its briefs and timely completion of projects.
Strategic Production Planning & Execution
- Develop scalable production strategies to handle both high-frequency social content retainers and larger brand campaign projects.
- Implement resource planning and budget management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Establish best practices and standard operating procedures for production efficiency and quality assurance.
- Maintain a culture of high standards and continuous improvement, driving innovation within production techniques and social content creation.
Team Development & Mentorship
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to support professional growth and address challenges.
- Lead collaborative feedback and critique sessions, aligning creative output with Tactical’s vision and client expectations.
- Build a culture of mentorship and knowledge sharing, encouraging team members to experiment and innovate within the social-first production space.
- Guide the Post Producer and creative leads in managing video, animation, and motion graphics teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and high-quality results.
What you bring
- 8+ years of experience in managing mid to large scale productions, with 2+ years leading mid-sized production teams.
- Proven experience managing both social-first content production and large-scale brand campaigns.
- A strong network of freelance producers, production vendors, and creative partners, particularly within the GCC region.
- Technical expertise in video production, post-production, and animation, including workflow management and best practices.
- Deep understanding of social media trends and platform best practices, particularly for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Demonstrated ability to guide creative teams on production feasibility, translating ideas into actionable and budget-friendly plans.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to rapid changes and challenges.
- Client-facing communication skills, ensuring transparency and maintaining strong relationships.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
