Who you are
We’re looking for a Social Manager to join our Entertainment team at Tactical. The goal? Put a global music brand at the heart of culture in Egypt with bold ideas, smart strategy and content that speaks to real fans.
You live and breathe music. From mahraganat to indie pop, you know who’s hot, what’s trending in Cairo, and which lyrics everyone’s quoting. You speak to Egyptian fans because you are one.
You’re extremely online. TikTok, X (Twitter), Instagram — you get the formats, the jokes, the trends, and how to turn them into scroll-stopping content.
You know the culture. From music drops to Cairo traffic, you’ve got takes. You switch effortlessly between sarcasm, sentiment, and slang, and know when to use each.
You’re a sharp writer in Arabic and English. Whether it’s humour, emotion, or hype, you nail the tone every time.
You’re full of ideas, work well with others, and can lead a content calendar with confidence. You don’t just follow trends — you aim to set them.
What you'll do
- You live and breathe Egypt’s music and entertainment scene. From mahraganat to Arab pop and Egyptian rap, you know what’s blowing up and what fans care about.
- You’ll create content for a global brand’s Egypt social channels — content people want to share, talk about, and engage with, from daily posts to reactive moments.
- You’ll lead on day-to-day content creation across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and WhatsApp — writing copy, sourcing visuals, and jumping on trends in real time.
- You’ll concept and execute social-first ideas that feel local, fun, and in tune with Egyptian culture — whether that’s a meme, a trending sound, or a clever caption.
- You’ll work on artist collab concepts and release campaigns — coming up with creative social ideas to support major single or album drops and artist moments that matter.
- You’ll stay informed about what’s performing and why, using content insights to continually evolve and improve your ideas.
- You’ll collaborate closely with designers and editors, but you’re confident creating content yourself — quickly, creatively, and with strong attention to detail.
What you bring
- This is a 4-month contract, fully remote and based in Egypt.
- You’re fluent in Arabic (especially Egyptian dialect) and comfortable writing in both Arabic and English.
- You have 2–3+ years of experience creating content for social media — ideally for a brand in the music, entertainment, or youth culture sectors.
- You’re obsessed with social media. You know how each platform works, what makes content hit, and how to make something feel native to Egypt.
- You’re a strong copywriter who knows how to be funny, emotional, or hype — and when to use each.
- You’re quick, creative, and proactive. You spot trends early and know how to jump on them fast.
- You care about quality, tone, and audience — and you’re excited to help shape one of the most engaging brand voices in Egypt.
