This role will report to our Lead Systems Engineer and operates within a matrixed organization working alongside other engineers on specific projects. The Systems Engineer (SE) contributes to several hardware and software related project functions manufacturing TAG electronics. The SE is engaged in all phases of product lifecycle, from initial design through deployment and support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to assess and understand customer technical requirements. An average day as a Systems Engineer at TAG will see you handling some combination of the tasks below:
- 1. Design, document, and test hardware and software components, which includes:
- a. Requirements Documents
- b. Performance Specifications
- c. Configuration Management
- d. Contract Data Requirement Lists
- e. Architecture design and documentation
- 2. Support the test and production of hardware and software components, which includes:
- a. Assembly Procedures
- b. Functional Test Procedures
- c. Design Verification Procedures
- d. System Testing
- 3. Develop and execute verification and validation plans for system components
- 4. Develop test procedures, processes, and necessary fixture/test items for quality validation.
- 5. Participate in design processes, including design reviews and prototype generation.
- 6. Participate in product testing, verification, and validation.
- 7. Provide input and feedback to Engineering, Manufacturing, Configuration Management, Quality Management, and Executive Management.
- 8. Generate and maintain revision-controlled test documentation.
- 9. Evaluate and integrate design changes per Engineering Change Requirements (ECRs).
$70,000 - $85,000 a year
Requirements: (You MUST bring these skills to our team.)
1. 1-5 years’ experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on requirement elicitation and V&V
2. Experience with electronics, assemblies, computer components, and the design process.
3. Ability to lift 20 lbs.
4. Great attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
5. Eligible to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
6. Strong verbal, writing, and documentation skills.

1. Experience with GNSS systems.
2. Passion for learning new technologies.
3. Ability to be agile.
4. Ability to work independently, as well as having the ability to collaborate with team groups.
5. DoD Secret or TS cleared
