As part of Tala’s aim to establish itself in the markets we are currently in, the right people need to be placed to lead local initiatives. As the Corporate Recruiter, you will collaborate with a dedicated and hard-working Talent Acquisition team in staffing and meeting strategic/volume hire targets while providing a best-in-class experience for both our hiring managers and candidates. You will own the entire recruiting life-cycle process for your searches and will serve as a consultative partner to hiring managers on all recruiting activities. You will help evaluate candidates for alignment with our company's core values and mission.

What you'll do:

    • Work with hiring managers on recruiting planning meetings.
    • Create MOCs and job descriptions for strategic/volume hires with close coordination of Hiring Managers and PH People Business Partner
    • Handles end-to-end recruiting responsibilities including partnering with hiring managers to develop recruiting/interviewing plans, creating job descriptions, scheduling interviews, drafting and sending job offers. 
    • Efficiently and effectively fill open strategic corporate talent needs and volume hire requirements.
    • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates in advance of need.
    • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
    • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
    • Post openings on online venues, newspaper classifieds, with professional organizations, and in other positions appropriate venues.
    • Prepare, post, and manage requisitions in our ATS
    • Locate and document where to find ideal candidates.
    • Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
    • Leads coordination for career fairs, employer branding events, and in-office events PH meetups.
    • Conducts candidate reference and initiates background checks
    • Creates offer letters and manages the handoff process to PH People Business Partner for filing.
    • Assist in onboarding new hires such as (but not limited to) conducting People Ops Onboarding on new hires’ first day.
    • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
    • Create contacts within the industry.
    • Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings.
    • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or any related field. 
    • 2+ years experience in recruiting strategic hires and Executives (technical recruiting a plus)
    • 2+ years experience in recruiting volume hire requirements
    • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
    • Excellent computer skills and knowledge in working with GDrive
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
    • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Able to collect and interpret data-based measurements to demonstrate the effectiveness or failure of the recruitment system from position opening to onboarding.
    • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources. 
    • Strategic, entrepreneurial thinking aligned to Tala’s mission and startup stage
    • Organizational skills to plan, coordinate, prioritize, with startup flexibility
    • Business savvy to understand and contribute to metrics underlying financial products
    • Experience working Applicant Tracking System
    • Proficiency in Google Suite and Slack preferred.
    • Familiarity with software and general fintech talent landscape in the Philippines
