We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Corporate Controller to join our world-class finance team. This critical leadership role will oversee and optimize all aspects of accounting operations in a complex, rapidly evolving environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our financial ecosystems, and we want someone excited about solving the company’shardest problems. The responsibilities of the role are as follows
What You'll Do
- Own and scale the global accounting function by building high-performing teams, developing scalable processes, implementing robust systems, and establishing clear policies that support both rapid growth and sustainable success
- Lead the monthly close, consolidation, and external reporting cycle with precision, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US GAAP, while paving the way for SEC reporting standards
- Drive transformative IPO readiness initiatives, embracing PCAOB audit standards and implementing the financial controls and policies essential for a thriving public company
- Cultivate strong relationships with auditors and external advisors, fostering collaboration that empowers our mission
- Ensure unwavering compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Collaborate seamlessly with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver exemplary revenue accounting treatment for new product launches
- Implement and enforce corporate policies and procedures that govern invoice processing, cash management, expense reporting, and related governance, reinforcing our commitment to excellence
- Assist in the development, monitoring, and regular reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs), guiding our journey towards success
- Foster a culture of truth-seeking, ignite a sense of urgency, and nurture a relentless passion for excellence
What You'll Need
- CPA, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and Big 4 Experience or related;
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including senior-level controllership or corporate accounting roles;
- Proven experience preparing a company for IPO or operating as a public company controller/senior accounting leader;
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and internal control frameworks;
- Strong leadership and communication skills;
- Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- System savvy; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP, and familiarity with financial automation tools;
- Tech-forward, withexperience and a desire to leverage AI and the latest technologies to build scalable operations.
- Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with multi-currency accounting, ideally in emerging markets.
