The Role
The role entails leading the initial response for identifying fraud, defining internal policies and procedures to prevent operational risks not limited to fraudulent activities, and actively mitigating operational risks. This involves conducting fraud prevention activities in-market and collaborating closely with the Compliance team to enhance fraud detection measures.

What You'll Do

    • Create insightful analysis that aids management decision-making, improves performance, and reduces Operational Risks.
    • Continuously analyze operational incidents & Key Risk Indicators for root causes and recommend controls where necessary to prevent recurrence.
    • Continuously review and enhance operational processes & identify potential risks in line with changing business environments and emerging risks.
    • Conduct detailed investigations into suspicious activities, potentially fraudulent transactions, and other risk-related incidents.
    • Monitor transactions and account activities to detect and prevent money laundering activities, in compliance with AML/CTF/CPF regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records of investigations, findings, and actions taken, adhering to confidentiality and data protection standards.

What You'll Need

    • Experience in the financial sector
    • At least 1+ years experience managing Operational risk / Customer Complaints/ Analytics (preferred at a regulatory level) 
    • Experience in trend analysis and alerts in early fraud prevention and detection
    • Proficient in English
