Head of Enterprise Go-to-Market Strategy
Talend is seeking a Head of Enterprise Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy to set, build, and evolve the GTM vision for our global Enterprise business. You will partner with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Customer Success, and Product Management to design and operationalize the GTM strategy for our largest customers with revenues greater than $1Billion, including high-profile Fortune 500 accounts.
You will take early-stage ideas and turn them into growth initiatives that will redefine how Talend shows up in the Enterprise market. Focusing on identifying strategies for new revenue streams, expanding into new markets, and optimizing existing markets/verticals. You will research, analyze, scope, and prioritize these high-growth opportunities, directly driving budget and fiscal planning outcomes.
You will partner closely with senior revenue leaders to build out the vision for Enterprise revenue organization and drive critical GTM initiatives. The results will be tight cross-functional alignment and execution on the Enterprise GTM Strategy, resulting in strong revenue growth, increased customer lifetime value, and productivity improvements.
The ideal candidate anticipates the needs of the business, uses data and sound logic to recommend tradeoffs, and can quickly and efficiently mobilize the business to drive results. You are a strategic visionary with an entrepreneurial spirit, strong industry/technical knowledge, and effective communication and organizational leadership skills. You have proven success in building and executing high-impact business strategies, leading revenue-focused teams, and driving cross-departmental alignment.
This is a remote position, based in the US, with global accountability. You will report into the VP of GTM Strategy under the Chief Revenue Officer. The GTM Strategy Team also covers strategy for Small and Mid-sized Business (SMB) and Talend’s product-led Digital Experience.
LEAD GTM STRATEGY & DRIVE COMPANY-WIDE STRATEGY ALIGNMENT
Orchestrate the development and execution of Talend’s GTM strategy for Enterprise.
Lead a GTM matrixed team consisting of senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Customer Success, and Product Management to build & execute on global GTM strategy.
Create GTM governance framework to align and vet all future Enterprise innovation ideas.
Identify high-growth initiatives and ensure end-to-end execution with successful outcomes.
Work with Revenue Leaders, across different time zones (Americas, Europe, Asia) to define and prioritize budget & fiscal year planning priorities for the Revenue Organization.
Be a change agent to foster company-wide culture of GTM execution.
ANALYZE & RECOMMEND GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES:
Research, analyze, and recommend revenue expansion opportunities.
Analyze disparate data sources to make business critical decisions to influence Enterprise strategy
Utilize customer research, industry trends, and market/competitive analysis to propose new routes to market and areas for expansion.
MEASURE GTM SUCCESS:
Partner with cross-functional teams to define, build, and monitor cross-department success metrics for the Enterprise business globally
Provide regular communication to Exec Staff and global Leaders on progress of company-wide alignment for Enterprise GTM strategy, execution, and success measures.
Tech savvy with 10+ years of relevant SaaS GTM strategy experience, including roles in revenue and/or marketing strategy, business development, or extensive sales leadership at a high-growth company.
Ideal candidate has 5+ years in strategy consulting or strategic role advising C-level leaders.
Experience in integration market with understanding of cloud data and data management (data integration, governance, transformation, sharing of data).
Sharp, strategic thinker who can design and execute on a vision.
Comfortable with complexity with demonstrated use of critical thinking techniques.
Outstanding communication (written/presentation) and influencing skills with senior leaders/execs.
Ability to adapt to and lead through fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain environments.
Demonstrated success in understanding and collaborating with marketing, support, sales, business development, finance, customer success, operations, IT, and product organizations.
Experience working with analytics team to generate appropriate reporting and dashboarding.
Highly data driven, with experience in reporting on key success metrics, analyzing trends, and making data-driven recommendations.
Proven success in delivering impactful results.
Ability to understand complex technical problems and design solutions.
Team player who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves whenever needed.
Builds solid business relationships with stakeholders, leaders, and teammates and is viewed as trusted advisor across all levels.
Ability to set and adjust priorities and competing demands to meet aggressive deadlines.
History of running quickly with little supervision.
