As part of its growth, Talend is looking for a Senior Innovation Architect to join the Architecture team based in Suresnes, France. His/her missions will be to analyze the market technology trends and report meaningful subjects. Work in coordination with partners and product team to ensure alignments between departments. Help to define and implement the North-star by bringing new ideas and demonstrate their values. 

Key Responsibilities

    • Technology advisor, scout and identify future technology trends
    • Identify areas for further research and innovation
    • Act as a catalyzer between Partners and R&D by following latest and future innovations
    • Help to drive strategic decision and develop proposals for funding
    • Follow-up on “North-Star" track helping getting things done
    • Define prototypes and architecture in partnership
    • Interact with the product teams and customers in order to demonstrate and refine technical assumptions

Skills and experience

    • In-depth knowledge of the customer needs and products portfolio
    • Creative spirit that develops and seeks ideas. Screening of various sensors and innovation source
    • Demonstrate capabilities to communicate to business and technical stakeholders and work cross departments 
    • Technology oriented with business in mind
    • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

Nice to have

    • Knowledge and interest in Big Data, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless Big Data (Qubole, Databricks), Automation, data management, BI, or API management
    • Experience in working within a distributed & international agile team environment.
