How We Work
We work in small teams, deploy dozens of times per day, and keep our projects short and focused. Our team is highly collaborative, and as an engineer at Stitch, you can expect to spend a lot of time learning from and teaching your colleagues through pair programming.

Stitch is made up of these main components:
Source integrations - lots of them! - that stream data out of SaaS applications, databases, and filesystems
A high-volume data pipeline, moving hundreds of billions of records per month
Destination loaders that efficiently import data into cloud systems like Redshift, Snowflake, and BigQuery
A mid-tier and UI that tie it all together

Our backend services are written in Clojure and Python, and our front-end is written in React. We use MySQL and PostgreSQL to manage the state of our system. The entire system runs on Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, ELB, VPC, and more).
Experience with these technologies is not required, but is considered a plus.

What We Are Looking For
As a Software Engineer on our data sources team, you’ll work on building out new data sources in our open source Singer framework, extending and maintaining the framework itself, and building the interfaces between the framework and the rest of the Stitch product. You’ll collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and product designers on everything from product requirements, to software architecture, to testing strategy.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
Knowledge of web applications, databases, Linux and cloud environments
A track record of solving technical challenges and getting things done.
Knowledge of fundamental computer science concepts.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
