This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing industries in the market. Our Billing Clerk will be responsible for managing all sales receipts for billing services from the various locations in Mexico, as well as managing the collection of issued receipts. You will maintain direct contact with the sales department and clients, with strong communication skills, empathy, and proactivity being key. Furthermore, you will be responsible for certain reporting, recording, and data analysis activities. Join the ride!
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in billing and accounts receivable activities.
- Familiar with SAT platform is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with multifunctional teams.
- Proficiency in Excel and general accounting knowledge is required.
Key responsibilities
- Address customers´ inquiries regarding billing and collections.
- Collection management (emails, word processing, calls, account statements, collection letters).
- Update and control the billing database (update annual increases, addenda, terms, new sales, etc.).
- Issue accurate and timely CFDIs.
- Update the product and service database with the codes established at the corporate level.
- Issue escrow receipts.
- Review and maintain the database according to SAT requirements for CFDI issuance.
- Review and maintain the guarantee database.
- Issue payment supplements and credit notes.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and identify deposits.
- Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports (general collections, collection reports, impairment allowances, credit losses, sales linearization, guarantee reserves).
- Send CFDIs to clients.
- Preparation of monthly sales reports.
- Review and analysis of monthly extras reports for subsequent invoicing.
- Responding to internal and external audit requests.
- Supporting expense recording and reporting for supplier payments.
