We’re seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our HR Operations team. You’ll also partner with HRBPs and Centers of Excellence to deliver scalable solutions, support lifecycle processes, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. If you’re detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and excited to make a real impact in a fast-growing environment, we’d love to hear from you. This is an ideal role for someone with strong HR Generalist experience who’s looking to continue to deepen their skills in these areas at a high-growth, mission-driven company.

About Talkiatry:
Talkiatry transforms psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care. We’re a national mental health practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality treatment.

60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low, and paperwork is unduly burdensome.   With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine.

You Will:

    • Own Tier 1 HR-support tickets, respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and programs, and escalate complex issues as needed.
    • Maintain internal employee resources and documentation based on recurring inquiry themes (Knowledgebase and FAQ creation).
    • Partner with HRBPs on lifecycle changes and offboarding logistics including severance agreements administration, performance documentation.
    • Act as a bridge between Center of Excellence expertise and business-facing HR to ensure consistent, scalable solutions
    • Assist with compliance-related tasks including training administration, documentation, audits, and ad hoc projects to ensure consistent recordkeeping and regulatory alignment.
    • Assist with HR reports creation and distribution
    • Assist with Open Enrollment and other benefits-related activities
    • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and optimize manual processes across HR Operations and partner with peers to drive efficiencies in all we do.
    • Support HR systems data maintenance and integrations

You Have:

    • You have 2+ years of experience in HR Operations, with hands-on ownership of employee data updates, inquiry management, and cross-functional support across HR Ops, HRBPs, and IT.
    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • You have exposure to HR compliance and/or HRBP programs and are eager to grow your skillset in these areas
    • You thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and enjoy building repeatable systems
    • You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work, and a natural service mindset when supporting employees
    • You are curious and self-motivated to find the answers you may not have
    • You are technologically savvy and have strong experience working with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now or Workday experience is a strong plus)
    • You have a sharp eye for detail and are confident working with data, spreadsheets, and documentation
    • You are a systems thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
    • You have excellent communication skills and ability to support employees at all levels.
