We are seeking a results-driven Performance Marketing Manager to operate direct response marketing campaigns across multiple channels. This role will focus on optimizing and scaling our marketing campaigns to drive patient acquisition. You will be responsible for managing campaigns across channels such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, affiliate marketing, Connected TV (CTV), and audio platforms. While experience across all these channels is not required, proficiency in key direct response channels is essential.

As the Performance Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the Growth, Product, and Analytics teams to develop and execute strategies that maximize ROI and contribute to the overall growth of Talkiatry. You will have the opportunity to shape our marketing efforts by testing new channels, optimizing existing ones, and driving continuous improvement in our approach to performance marketing.

About Talkiatry:
Talkiatry transforms psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care. We’re a national mental health practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality treatment.

60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low and paperwork is unduly burdensome.  With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine.

You will:

    • Plan, execute, and optimize performance marketing campaigns across direct response channels, including but not limited to Google Ads, Facebook Ads, affiliate marketing, Connected TV (CTV), and audio platforms.
    • Manage budgets effectively to maximize ROI, allocating resources across channels based on performance data.
    • Analyze campaign performance metrics regularly to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
    • Conduct A/B testing, audience segmentation, and other experimentation to refine targeting and creative strategies.
    • Explore and evaluate new direct response channels that could drive incremental growth.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging platforms to identify new opportunities for campaign expansion.
    • Work closely with the Creative team to develop compelling ad creatives that resonate with our target audience and drive action.
    • Partner with the Analytics team to develop and implement tracking and reporting mechanisms that provide clear insights into campaign performance.
    • Provide regular performance reports to the VP of Growth Marketing, including insights on campaign effectiveness, channel performance, and recommendations for optimization.
    • Develop actionable insights from campaign data to inform future strategies and drive continuous improvement.

You have:

    • Bachelors degree or relevant experience
    • 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a focus on direct response channels.
    • Proficiency in managing campaigns on key platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and at least one other direct response channel (e.g., affiliate marketing, Connected TV, audio).
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, tracking, and attribution.
    • Experience with A/B testing, audience segmentation, and other optimization techniques.
    • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and third-party ad platforms.
    • Ability to learn and develop a high level of proficiency in SQL, Python, and the ability to use data to inform strategic decisions (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Snowflake, Postgres, etc.)
