Tallwave's Analytics & Technology team uses our skills to bring our client's vision to life. Working closely with our Analytics Team and our clients, the Senior Developer - Data & Reporting will create automations to extract and load client data into Tallwave’s proprietary Reporting Platform. The Tallwave Senior Developer - Data & Reporting will get to:
- Manage all data integration/extraction/storage needs as required for reporting
- Utilize SQL and data analysis tools to extract client data and format the results to answer specific business questions
- Develop ETL pipelines in Tallwave’s proprietary system to meet data input requirements
- Design and develop dashboards, visualizations, and ad-hoc reports using Google Data Studio and/or Tableau
- Work with many platforms via API, find commonalities in reporting requirements and drive efficiencies in data extraction, storage, and querying
- Automate periodic reporting based on requirements from Analysts
- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
The successful Senior Developer - Data & Reporting will have:
- Strong Python/C# .NET programming knowledge (either/or)
- Strong SQL skills, especially with developing resource efficient queries
- REST/SOAP API expertise
- Git experience
- Tableau or Google Data Studio experience building dashboards and visualizations
- Advanced data transformation skills
- Database management skills are a plus
- Previous experience with marketing-related tools a plus (i.e. Google Analytics)
The ideal Senior Developer - Data & Reporting will have:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
- 3-5 years using Python/C# .NET to build ETL pipelines
- 3-5 years using MySQL to create efficient queries
- 1-3 years experience translating business requirements to data/technical requirements
- Proven ability to automate complex reporting processes
