Right now, we are looking for an experienced hands-on full stack engineering manager with a can-do approach.

As the leader of the merchant tools and experience team, you will have full ownership of Tapingo's merchant-facing POS solution as well as any tools that are required to manage the merchant operations for both our pickup and delivery businesses – from A to Z.

As a hands-on engineering leader, you will be responsible for managing, hiring and mentoring your team to excellence, in both product and technology.

As the leader of the engineering product team, you will be expected to have a strong business and product understanding and a strong voice especially with regards to your product road maps and feature development.

You'll be part of Tapingo's engineering leadership team, and you'll work with all the R&D teams and strategic business stakeholders to help shape and build the company's future.


    • 6+ years as a full-stack developer or several front- and back-end positions.
    • 2+ years in an engineering leader/manager position
    • Experience with a leading front-end framework like React, Angular, backbone.
    • Mastery of at least one Object Oriented language (preferred Python)
    • Deep understanding of design patterns. 
    • Product-oriented and problem-solving personality.
    • Great communication skills.
