Responsibilities
Be the accountable design leader of all customer-facing experiences on website;
Act as the primary connection between product team and the business to set expectations on design processes, deliverables and quality;
Directly manage, mentor and grow a lean team of talented UI/UX designers;
Ensure career growth and development of designers;
Lead customer research and apply insights to generate website experience that delivers customer delight
Deliver compelling UX visions, UI specifications, wireframes, and prototypes
Define engagement models and manage relationships with external design agencies and contractors;
Lead prioritisation discussions with leadership teams, defining scope, budget, timelines and resource allocation;
Qualifications
Bachelors/Masters in Design from a premium institute
8-10 years’ experience designing and delivering products / services
Experience in e-commerce is preferable
Deep knowledge of user centric design methods of innovation and ideation;
Deep knowledge of marketing communications principles, creative and art direction;
Knowledge of web and mobile technologies and their impact on the feasibility of a design;
Strong skills in communication (written, verbal, and visual), influence and persuasion;
Great interpersonal skills
