The CMO at Trade will be responsible for:
* Developing both innovative and proven programs to drive brand awareness, new client acquisition and client retention
* Own and cultivate the company’s coffee merchandising operations, including on-site creative merchandising, roaster management and operations, and new roaster recruitment
* Leading the company’s efforts around customer segmentation and market research, keeping the company focused on the largest opportunities within a changing market

The candidate will need to build, manage and inspire a team to accomplish company goals with excellence, creativity and urgency.  You will lead the team in executing complex Marketing Operations.

Requirements

    • 8+ years experience in consumer marketing w/ meaningful time in digital ecosystem
    • Someone who leads by example -- you will be directly involved in the work as a means to coach the team and ensure results
    • Experience building an innovative consumer brand
    • Track record of ad budgets $10MM-$25MM per year
    • Experience building and optimizing offline media campaigns
    • Ability to attract, develop, and retain a talented Marketing team
    • Curiosity and understanding of rapidly changing digital social ecosystem & an early adopter
    • Demonstrated success in an early stage and or rapidly growing business
    • Deep experience in analytical marketing functions including performance marketing and CRM
    • Strong collaborator as this person will be working closely with the creative, design and merchandising leadership
    • Experience with cutting edge forms of mobile commerce (SMS, Messenger, Chat-bot, etc)
    • Experience with high-impact customer loyalty programs and subscription commerce
    • Experience coordinating and overseeing PR efforts (both in-house and 3P)
