Position: PT Accounting SpecialistAs the company’s accounting specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s financial transactions, maintaining accurate records of inventory and oversee inventory management (both from an operational and financial perspective).

Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
    • Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, sales and expenses.
    • Payroll reporting and management.
    • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial data.
    • Perform month-end and quarterly-end closings.
    • Assist with company tax, compliance and licensing reporting.
    • Manage new hire reporting and on-boarding.
    • Calculating, filing and payment of all Sales Tax
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure stock availability.
    • Track inventory movements and conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
    • In collaboration with the operations team, assist with parts identification for certain jobs, manage procurement of inventory, and facilitate returns as necessary
    • Collaborate with technicians and service staff to ensure accurate tracking of inventory usage.
    • This role can be part time or full time

Requirements:

    • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, MBA or CPA preferred
    • Proven experience as a bookkeeper with inventory management.
    • Strong knowledge of Quickbooks (required), Microsoft Excel, Word, and payroll software.
    • 3-5+ years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience.
    • Working knowledge of US GAAP.
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
    • Critical thinker capable to initiating process improvements and problem solving.
    • Enthusiastic, inquisitive and desire to learn a broad range of topics.
    • Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
$25 - $30 an hour
