We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to become our Head of Marketing, to assist the Marketing Director and provide additional support to the Content and Marketing Teams.

Focus of the role:

    • Support the Marketing Director Support on campaign planning and in helping to action the overall marketing plan
    • Focus on strategy Develop integrated marketing strategies (content, events, paid media, PR, organic, social etc) to drive growth through brand awareness in key markets, targeted lead generation and audience retention
    • Oversee the team Oversee content creation and promotion 
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders Work closely with internal stakeholders to put in place retention, lead generation  and influencer-led campaigns
    • Financial forecasting Forecast potential marketing value, budget and ROI on all marketing activities
    • Build & Mentor our team Manage and mentor your immediate marketing team
    • Website control Take overall responsibility for the TechNation website and associated platforms 
    • Results Track programme and campaign results.

The skills and experience you’ll likely have are:

    • Strong planning, negotiation, communication and analytical skills
    • Exceptional written English with previous editorial experience preferable 
    • Extensive marketing and brand building experience
    • Data and results focused, adept at forecasting and projections
    • Experience concepting and executing national, integrated consumer promotions supported with above the line and below the line media
    • Proven success building productive, long-term marketing relationships
    • Solution-orientated approach to problem solving; ability to pivot conversations and recommend creative solutions 
    • Proven experience of success across the whole marketing mix
    • B2B experience ideally in a Tech environment
    • Experience in setting and exceeding KPIs 
    • Experience of using a variety of ad platforms 
    • Significant experience in leading a marketing team and line managing and developing employees
    • Tech-savvy, with experience of a variety of digital marketing tools across all channels
    • Strong commercial acumen
