We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator. You’ll be focused on activities involving social media content and growth, while taking an active role in marketing execution. Things like corporate events and programming, sponsorship, thought leadership, and networking. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager, who is focused on the overall MarComms strategy for TechNexus, as well as collaborating with our ecosystem to promote our Joint Venture partnerships.
As a Marketing Coordinator, also known as a Marketing Assistant, you’ll get to work closely with our network, starting with our team members, founders, and partners to distill knowledge and help build/scale the TechNexus brand and businesses. It’s marketing in a high-tech, venture capital setting. You’ll get to see what that looks like, up close, every day.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be doing everything from creating new marketing campaigns, managing our social media pages and multiple websites to continuously building out improvements, measuring and sharing processes and performance. You’ll manage relationships with external support partners (e.g. copywriters, agencies) to drive marketing activities. You’ll write and edit original content for our blog, collect data and analyze digital interactions, social metrics, and website/profile visits to help the team better understand the success of our marketing efforts. There’s more, but that’s the big picture.
- 2+ years of applicable marketing experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with marketing tools such as HubSpot, MailChimp, Buffer, Wordpress/Elementor, or similar.
- The ability to authentically engage an audience from a brand perspective
- BA/BS degree
- Visual design experience (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Experience in coordinating audio content (Podcasting, Clubhouse, etc.)
- SEO and Google Analytics experience
