Responsibilities

    • Researching image level features for downstream vision tasks (including learned and hand crafted features)
    • Creating sensor data collection software for on site data collection and validating vision algorithms
    • Optimising vision algorithms for target embedded architectures
    • Work cross functionally across different departments (e.g. hardware, design, ops and graphics teams)
    • BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Robotics, Machine Learning or something similar

Skills

    • Experience with Object Detection and Segmentation (Instance or Panoptic) ML architectures
    • Experience with ML Algorithms and feature creation (e.g. Bayesian, Random forest, MRF/CRF, HMM)
    • Understanding of Computational Geometry (Rotations, projective geometry, quaternions)
    • Programming skills in Python, and C++
    • Machine Learning Framework: TensorFlow or PyTorch
    • Experience of Traditional Computer Vision and Vision Processing Techniques: Morphology, Connected Components, Segmentation, Feature Descriptors/Tracking
