Reporting to the Senior Lead, Recruitment & Campus North America, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will contribute towards the delivery of key Talent Acquisition (TA) mandates and act as a central resource to foster positive recruitment outcomes.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative individual to support and enhance our global recruitment operations. In this role, the Coordinator will be pivotal in driving process excellence, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality reporting and recruitment insights. They will work closely with regional teams, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support full-cycle recruitment when needed. Responsibilities
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Create and continuously improve key Talent Acquisition (TA) reports, including the Annual HR Report and weekly/monthly dashboards. Incorporate stakeholder feedback and ensure data accuracy by auditing, reviewing, and investigating anomalies or inconsistencies
- Monitor recruiter adherence to Teck’s TA and hiring guidelines. Conduct regular audits and provide targeted training or coaching to address gaps and reinforce best practices
- Maintain clear, standardized documentation of global TA processes and ensure accessibility through appropriate SharePoint sites
- Collaborate with regional TA teams across North and Latin America to ensure alignment with global standards, processes, and practices
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities in partnership with TA leadership
- Contribute to ongoing TA process improvement initiatives, leveraging data, feedback, and best practices to enhance efficiency and candidate experience
- Step in to manage full-cycle recruitment as needed to support team capacity and ensure timely hiring outcomes
- Design, maintain, and update content on collaboration platforms such as Miro, Microsoft Whiteboard, SharePoint, and Teams to support team communication and knowledge sharing
- Promote Agile principles within the TA team. Lead scrum ceremonies, encourage iterative feedback, and find opportunities to improve team workflows and delivery
- Facilitate onboarding for new TA team members by guiding them through tools, processes, and available resources
- Contribute to or lead cross-functional projects within the HR and Talent functions, supporting strategic initiatives and organizational goals
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a background in Human Resources is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced recruitment environment, ideally within a large or enterprise-level organization
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors (RCM and RMK modules) is strongly preferred or similar enterprise HRIS
- Experience with Lever or a comparable cloud-based Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Experience with process mapping using Visio or a similar tool is preferred
- Proven ability to create and deliver reports by consolidating data from multiple sources using tools such as Excel, PowerBI, SharePoint, and other reporting platforms
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Practical experience with full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, selection, and pre-hire processes
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey urgency, professionalism, and clarity in presentations and stakeholder interactions
- Collaborative and approachable, with a natural ability to build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
$67,000 - $82,000 a year
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
