You will have the opportunity to own the IT function and build it however you wish. Tecton has a solid IT foundation, you will have the chance to take it to the next level through automation and process streamlining.

Responsibilities - General IT

    • Oversee device lifecycle management for our employees, including office IT equipment and networks
    • Manage the corporate Okta user lifecycle and directory
    • Support On/Off-Boarding: prepare new hire hardware, maintain local inventory, and assist with new hire orientation
    • Manage local contracts and procurement of devices for both office and employee devices, and any supporting software or SaaS applications
    • Integrate new and existing SaaS with Tecton’s identity provider through SAML integrations
    • Manage key Google Workspace services, including Drive and Gmail.
    • Triage IT/Helpdesk requests in service management systems and in-person assistance
    • Create, document, and implement standard operating procedures
    • Manage all office systems to include networking and teleconference infrastructure

Responsibilities - Compliance and Security

    • Work with security to deploy patches across user workstations in line with internal SLAs
    • Ensure 100% enrollment of all user workstations in Tecton’s Mobile Device Management platform
    • Ensure controls defined by security team are implemented across user workstation fleet
    • Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations
    • Offer solutions to address current inefficiencies and assist in the implementation of new processes for operations teams

You Have:

    • Experience providing IT customer support, including software installation, hardware troubleshooting, and ticket management
    • Experience as an Okta Administrator
    • Experience with Google Workspace administration
    • Experience with JAMF administration
    • Knowledge of Windows, Unix, and Mac OS operating systems
    • Ability to provide excellent interpersonal interactions with executive clients
    • Created disaster recovery plans for corporate IT
    • HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience in Helpdesk or Systems Administration, Associate’s degree and 4+ years of experience in Helpdesk or Systems Administration, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in Helpdesk or Systems Administration

    • Managed multiple Okta tenants and have experience with Okta universal directory
    • Implemented Okta Adaptive MFA
    • High-level JAMF experience deploying custom profiles to users based on organizational structure
    • Experience managing identity in a zero-trust environment
    • Experience with IT automation platforms
$137,000 - $165,000 a year
The estimated US base salary range for this position is $137,000 - $165,000 annually for employees based within California & New York. In addition to base salary, we offer competitive equity & comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, 401(K), flexible paid time off, 10 paid holidays each calendar year, sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws. Individual compensation packages are based on multiple factors such as location, level, role scope, and complexity, as well as additional job-related factors such as skills, experience, and expertise.

Tecton is a remote-friendly company that employs a hybrid working policy for employees based in the SF, NY, and Seattle areas. We believe that working in-person helps us stay connected, collaborate faster, and promote a strong culture while still providing the flexibility of working from home. We expect SF & NY employees to be in the office at least two designated days per week, and those in the Seattle area at least two designated days per month.
