We're seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our Tech team at Telda.

In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend systems that support our application. You'll work closely with the team to build innovative and high-quality solutions!

- Transforming product requirements into technical requirements and owning the delivery of those requirements E2E utilizing the available resources. 

- Architect and implement backend solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and performant, with a strong focus on high-quality code.

- Develop and optimize database structures and queries, ensure data integrity, and implement best practices in database management.

- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.

- Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize backend performance, ensuring reliability and scalability for high-traffic environments.

- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, monitor vulnerabilities, and stay updated on compliance requirements relevant to data protection.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

- 4+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in high-growth environments.

- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g. Go, Python, Java, C, C++).

- Commitment to quality, both in your code and your approach to problem-solving.

- Experience leading technical projects E2E.
