About the Role
As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a key role in managing inventory, overseeing logistics, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. Your responsibilities include receiving and processing shipments, maintaining an organized inventory system, inspecting products for defects, and assembling and packaging orders for accurate and timely shipments.
The most successful individual in this role will demonstrate acute attention to detail and the ability to rapidly and holistically understand the Teleo product. This level of understanding will enable you to proactively collaborate with the engineering team, flag potential issues, and contribute to continuous improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately process, pack, and ship customer orders.
- Inspect items for defects or damages and report issues as needed.
- Receive incoming shipments, restock inventory, and maintain accurate stock records.
- Assist in setting up and implementing inventory management software.
- Ensure proper inventory tracking and perform regular stock audits.
- Adhere to warehouse procedures and safety regulations.
- Perform kitting tasks, including assembling components when required.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Maintain documentation of inventory movements and warehouse activities.
- Identify and suggest improvements to warehouse processes for greater efficiency.
- Keep the lab area organized, including labeling tools and materials.
- Support technicians and engineers as needed.
- Take on additional responsibilities to help achieve company goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or similar software.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Passion for robotics and a fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Qualification/Bonus Points
- 2+ years of experience in a startup environment, with hands-on involvement in inventory management.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, including creating Bills of Materials and reviewing packing lists.
- Experience assembling mechanical or electronic components (e.g., wiring harnesses) with strong mechanical intuition.
- Knowledge of task management software (e.g., Jira, Monday).
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Performance of the position requires working safely and may occasionally require climbing up to elevated surfaces, working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, noise levels, and on a range of outdoor work surfaces.
- The position may require frequent movement and activity relating to using keyboards, viewing data on computer displays, and communicating verbally and in writing.
- You may be required to occasionally stand for extended periods, operate tools and controls, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs
$20 - $35 an hour
