Telesat is seeking a Summer Student to assist with the indoor and outdoor maintenance of the Allan Park facility.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide support to Allan Park logistics and warehouse areas
- Prepare obsolete equipment for proper disposal
- Perform general maintenance tasks
- Perform outdoor maintenance around buildings and antennas
Education and Experience Required
- Must have completed at least 1 year of post secondary education in any field of study
- Practical knowledge of computers
- This position will involve physical labour including some lifting
- The incumbent must have strong people skills and be able to communicate effectively, presenting a professional image of themselves and Telesat at all times
