The Senior Technical Consultant will join Tendo’s project teams as the technical subject matter expert (SME) and will be responsible for creating well-designed and resilient integrations between Tendo software and our customers’ environments. 

The Senior Technical Consultant should be hands-on and contribute through systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation.  

The person in this role should be an excellent communicator who is able to translate complex functional requirements into the Tendo implementation. Frequent communication and collaboration with other teams, both internal and customer-facing, is essential for successful project execution.

Responsibilities

    • Act as technical advisor to the customer and oversee project technical workstream.
    • Translate customer requirements into project-specific design documents and configuration specifications.
    • Configure, test, and deploy integrations between Tendo and customer environments.
    • Communicate customer requirement gaps and roadmap suggestions to product management.
    • Identify best practices and build reusable assets to create customer value and Tendo success.

Requirements

    • 5+ years in full lifecycle delivery of software integration in a product services environment. 
    • 2+ years hands-on experience with healthcare integration development using HL7 and FHIR APIs.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement software integration strategies. 
    • Proven ability to lead customer meetings and workshops with both technical and business-focused teams.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

    • Expert knowledge of integration with a major EHR vendor (Epic, Cerner, Altera, Meditech).
    • Familiarity with healthcare information patterns, such as clinical workflows, coding standards, and data handling regulations.
    • Experience with InterSystems IRIS.

    • Base Salary Range
      $97,750-$132,250

      This salary range is offered with the understanding that final compensation is based on a number of factors including geography and experience. Tendo also offers an equity package, annual bonuses, and benefits.
