About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Director of Growth to lead our customer acquisition and activation strategies with a focus on scalable outbound initiatives, traditional inbound and nurturing initiatives, with an eye for infusing AI into the process. You'll be responsible for driving rapid user acquisition and early-stage customer success, leveraging both traditional and cutting-edge growth methodologies. This role requires a data-driven leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to accelerate our business growth.


Key Responsibilities

Growth Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies focused on acquisition and activation
• Identify new growth opportunities through market analysis, competitive research, and customer insights
• Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to align growth initiatives with business objectives

Outbound Growth & Sales Development

• Design and implement scalable outbound prospecting strategies including cold email, LinkedIn outreach, and multi-touch sequences
• Build and optimize business development representative (BDR) programs and playbooks
• Develop account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns targeting high-value prospects and enterprise accounts
• Oversee outbound campaign performance including open rates, response rates, and meeting conversion metrics

Customer Acquisition

• Design and optimize multi-channel acquisition campaigns including paid media, content marketing, SEO, and partnerships
• Manage growth marketing budget allocation and ROI optimization across channels
• Lead conversion rate optimization efforts across landing pages, onboarding flows, and signup processes
• Develop and test new acquisition channels and tactics to diversify lead sources

Product-Led Growth

• Collaborate with product teams to implement growth features and improve user onboarding experiences
• Design and execute in-product growth experiments including viral mechanics and referral programs
• Analyze user behavior data to identify friction points and optimization opportunities in the activation funnel
• Drive adoption of key product features that correlate with early customer success

Analytics & Experimentation

• Establish robust testing frameworks and run continuous A/B and multivariate experiments across outbound and inbound channels
• Build dashboards and reporting systems to track growth metrics and funnel performance
• Conduct cohort analyses, attribution modeling, and customer acquisition cost calculations
• Present growth performance and insights to executive leadership and stakeholders

Team Leadership

• Build and manage a high-performing growth team including outbound specialists, growth marketers, analysts, and AI/automation experts
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision making
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams
• Stay current with growth marketing trends, outbound best practices, and AI developments in the SaaS industry


Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of growth marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role 
• Proven track record of scaling user acquisition through both inbound and outbound strategies
• Strong experience with outbound sales development, cold outreach, and account-based marketing
• Experience with HubSpot
• Familiarity with AI and automation tools for marketing and sales (Apollo, Clay, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience running large-scale paid advertising campaigns and managing significant marketing budgets
