Terminus is hiring a Software Engineer for our Chat Experiences (ChatX) team. We are looking for a full stack developer who enjoys working in all facets of the app. The correct candidate will have frontend, backend and infrastructure experience and a strong desire to learn. Must have proven experience delivering in an enterprise environment with excellent communication skills.

    • Collaborate and contribute (we want your opinion) in a fast-paced environment on a small team within a large organization
    • Write and review application code and services
    • Coordinate with leadership to define and prioritize products and features
    • Maintain infrastructure-as-code in an AWS environment
    • Instrument code to provide visibility into performance and reliability
    • Work with support to triage and debug customer and product issues


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree preferred, but not required
    • 3+ years of significant experience in distributed systems and web application development, especially in communications
    • Experience with React and Redux
    • Extensive use of AWS Services
    • Have recently used Modern JS
    • Typescript/flow experience or at least experience with typed languages such as Java/C#
    • Experience with modern Javascript code bundlers (i.e. webpack)


    • Experience with WebSockets | MQTT and NodeJS
    • Use Dynamo/MySQL/Redis
    • Experience with TDD/Code testing
    • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
    • Code testing experience/TDD (While Ramble has heavy test script automation and we don't expect you to be QA, we do expect an excellent work product)
